Step into a time-traveling celebration of 130 years of impact with Volunteers of America Oregon! Our Community Changemakers gala, themed “From Frontier to Future,” honors our founding in 1896 while looking boldly ahead to the next century of service.

This immersive evening will transport guests from Oregon’s frontier days to its vibrant future—blending historic homage, visionary storytelling, and unforgettable entertainment.

Guests will enjoy a lively reception with hearty frontier-inspired hors d'oeuvres, featured signature mocktails, and lively music from swing-era jazz trio Boy and Bean.

The program will be emceed by Kerry Tymchuk, Executive Director of the Oregon Historical Society. Together, we'll celebrate our Community Changemakers featuring inspiring stories and uplifting video presentations that bring 130 years of compassion and innovation to life.

Sponsors and guests alike will help shape the next chapter of VOA Oregon's legacy as we continue to stand at the frontier of hope—serving individuals and families across Oregon.
