Our mission is to enhance lives by promoting self-determination, building strong communities, and standing for social justice.

At Volunteers of America Oregon, we specialize in family safety, substance use, behavioral health, and reentry from the criminal justice system. For 130 years, we have been empowering individuals, families, and communities in Oregon, including the aging population, young people, men and women returning from prison, people with disabilities, domestic violence survivors, and those recovering from addictions. Our work touches the mind, body, heart – and ultimately the spirit – of those we serve, integrating our deep compassion with highly effective programs and services.
